Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Spreadless AI, the website and app that turn an Excel or CSV workbook into a working business app. Spreadless AI is provided by the company named under Contact (“we”, “us”). By uploading a workbook or signing in you accept these terms. If you use Spreadless AI for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may do so.

1. The service

You upload a workbook and, if you like, a note about how you use it. An AI model reads a description of the workbook and designs an app for it; we then import your rows into that app, where you can view, add, change and delete records. The AI can misread a workbook: check the app and its imported data before you rely on it. The dashboard lists what it was unsure about.

2. Your account

• You can try Spreadless AI without an email address. That trial account lives only in your browser's sign-in cookie: if you clear it or switch device before saving the app to your email address, the app can't be recovered.
• You sign in with a code or link sent to your email address, or with Google or Microsoft where that is offered. Keep access to that mailbox and those accounts to yourself.
• You must be at least 18 years old and use Spreadless AI for your work or business.

3. Your data

Your workbooks, notes and records remain yours. You give us the right to store, process and display them only as needed to run Spreadless AI for you, including sending a description of each workbook to our AI provider as explained in the Privacy Policy. When your data contains personal data about other people, our Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these terms. You are responsible for having the right to upload the data you upload.

4. Fair use

You agree not to:

• upload files you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful;
• try to reach other users' data, or test, scan or break our security;
• overload the service, get around its limits, or use it to build a competing product by automated means;
• send unsolicited or bulk marketing email from your app, or email people who haven't dealt with you.

Up to 50 files go in at once, at most 25 MB each. Uploads are limited to 3 an hour without an account and 20 an hour with one. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms; where we can, we tell you first.

5. Plans, payment and AI builds

• The plans, their prices and what they include are on Pricing. Your first app is built free. Starter, Pro and Business are paid monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars, by card through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Enterprise is agreed in writing.
• Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, once per workspace: you give a card at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, and the first payment is taken when it ends unless you cancel before. The trial includes 5 AI builds. A workspace without a plan keeps its app and data visible and downloadable; changing them needs a plan.
• Each plan includes a number of AI builds every month: building a new app (the first one is free), bringing new files into an app, merging two apps, or a change asked in the chat with the switch above the chat box on Change the app. An AI build that fails is given back. Questions and changes asked in the chat with the switch on Ask are not counted. Unused AI builds carry over for one month, up to one month's worth. Packs of AI builds can be bought on paid plans and don't expire while a paid plan is active. They have no cash value. To keep the service working for everyone, each workspace's AI use has a fair monthly limit in line with its plan; above it, answers come from the app's own rules until the next month.
• Changing to a bigger plan or tier takes effect at once and the difference for the rest of the period is charged right away. You can cancel any time in the billing portal: the plan runs to the end of the period already paid, then the workspace has no plan: its app and data stay visible and downloadable. Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• Taxes: we supply from the United Arab Emirates and charge no VAT. Business customers in the EU give their VAT number at checkout and account for the VAT themselves (reverse charge); for customers elsewhere the invoice is an export of services. You are responsible for any tax your country charges you on the purchase.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries again; if it keeps failing, the subscription ends and the workspace has no plan (its app and data stay visible and downloadable).
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from the next renewal.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Spreadless AI running and your data safe, but we don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and features may change. Some features are switched on step by step; a feature is part of a plan once it can be used in the app. Keep your own copy of the workbooks you upload; you can export your data at any time.

7. Liability

Spreadless AI is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (USD 100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can stop using Spreadless AI at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@spreadless.ai. We may end the service with 30 days' notice by email to saved accounts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes we tell signed-in users before they take effect. Using Spreadless AI after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as they apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai, unless the mandatory law of your country gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
