Help center
Short answers to what people ask most. In the app, the assistant answers from these pages too: just ask it.
- Build your first app
Drop your files in the box on the home page and press Build my app. A first working app is ready in about a minute, made from your own data.
- Add more data later
Open Add data in the menu. A spreadsheet can go into a list you already have (its columns are matched and rows that are already there aren't added twice), and invoices or photos land in Files.
- Scan paper with your phone
On Add data or Files, scan the code with your phone's camera and take photos of invoices, receipts and other papers. Nothing to install and no sign-in on the phone; the pages land in Files.
- Files, invoices and attachments
Files holds every document and photo. Each new one is read once and comes with a suggestion, like “Add to Order SO-1042 (same number)” or “New row in Invoices”; nothing changes until you approve it.
- Ask the assistant
Type a question about your data, like “how many orders this month?”, and the answer comes from your own rows. Or ask for a change, like a new column; you see it first and nothing happens until you apply it.
- Change columns and lists
Open a list and choose Columns to add, rename, hide or reorder columns, or just ask the assistant (“add a Due date column to Orders”).
- Connect your other tools
Open Connections in the menu. Each service has a card with a Connect button; the app reads it and keeps up to date (daily on Pro, hourly on Business). A service that isn't switched on for your workspace yet says what to do meanwhile, like bringing it in as an exported file.
- Your dates in Google Calendar or Outlook
Open Connections → Your calendar. Make your calendar address and paste it into Google Calendar (Other calendars → + → From URL), Outlook (Add calendar → Subscribe from web) or your iPhone's calendar. It shows the dates your app's calendar uses – deliveries, due dates, appointments – and keeps itself up to date. Pro and Business.
- Automations
Settings → Automations: when something happens (a row is added, a column changes, a date comes up, or on a schedule), if the conditions match, the app does up to five steps – set a column, add a row, send an email, post to a team channel or send to another app.
- Zapier, Make and n8n
Open Connections, then “Zapier, Make and n8n” → Set it up: send every change to them, and make an address that adds rows to a list from them. Pro and Business.
- Invite your team and set roles
Settings → Team: invite people with a link (it works once, for 7 days). Starter includes up to 3 team members, open invites included; Pro and Business have no limit and give each person a role. Anyone but the owner can leave; the owner hands over with Make owner.
- Plans and limits
Your first app is built free. To change it, start Starter, Pro or Business with a 14-day free trial. Without a plan your app and its data stay visible and can be exported; only changing them waits for a plan.
- Export, history and backups
Settings → Export all data downloads the app you are in as an Excel file at any time; each app has its own. History shows who changed what. Pro and Business back up every app daily (7 days on Pro, 30 on Business) and can restore.
- Where your data is kept
Your data and files are stored in Frankfurt, Germany, kept apart from every other workspace, and never used to train AI models. The Data Processing Agreement has the details.
- Get help
Ask the assistant first; it answers from these help pages. On Pro and Business, the Help button in the app sends your message to us with the page you were on; on every plan you can email us.
